ChiRunning is a form of running influenced by t’ai chi. The host – Tina Muir – takes listeners through a variety of in-depth interviews. I suppose I didn’t technically runnihg this book vreyer the last bit is a running plan which lays out how you should be going about applying all of the lessons taught in the earlier chapters.
I did a read-through with a couple of runs while still reading. I definitely recommend for anyone interested in broadening their running knowledge and lifestyle.

This book provided the structure for which I will now begin to train for ultra-distance running. I strongly recommend Tina’s “Run to the Top” weekly podcasts!!! I appreciate the topic selections as well, it’s not just the same information being recycled like you see in some popular running magazines.

Watching some of the videos on YouTube helped with some of the technique. They are the sanny lenght for my run, the guests are intersting and I like the “tone” of the interviews. My boyfriend who is a cross country coach and turned me on to this podcast.
Other running aspects, like midfoot strike and lean are similar to other instructors. After all, the human foot has no less complex a musculature than the runnning indeed, it may be much more so.
I really enjoyed this recent podcast of Greg Lehman because I learned that he will be at the same marathon as I am in Sept, the Erie Marathon. What a legend Tina Muir is!

I’m 5’4″ with stumpy little “Barny Rubble” legs that don’t go very fast on the best of days, and the shoulders and arms like a line backer due to my Midwestern rearing on a hay farm; a sleek and slender runners body is the last thing in the world that I possess.
Overall, a great podcast with a variety of guests that cover a wide array of practical running information. Jeff has great guests, and it’s been cool to hear him become more and more comfortable as an interviewer as the months go by. I have been listening to Run to the Top for a few month now.
