The best I can come up with is that it is concentrated, exquisite poetry with profound philosophical insights which looks deceptively like a short story. I loved this one. Sep 19, Vishy rated it it was amazing. That is also one of the themes of this story — the inadequacy of language. My summary is inadequate though — this is not exactly what happens, as what happens in the story is more complex than that.

Madness has come upon men and inwardly broken them in pieces. I suspect it’s her exploration of themes such as the choices made by successful people, and the consequences of those choices, difficulties in yead, questions of language and translation – topics that resonate with me for one reason or another.
